No.3971/10 Conf.

Sir,

Colonial Secretary's Office,

Hongkong, 20th July,

1910.

With reference to previous correspondence, i am

directed by the Officer Administering the Government to in-

form you that His Excellency proposes to submit a copy of

Mr. Percebola report on the General stuff of the Harbour

Office together with notes of the conversation at the two

interviews, to the Harbour Master for his observations

thereon.

It is not now proposed to make the matter public

but no doubt it will be laid before the Secretary of State.

I am to enquire whether there is any objection on

the part of Mr. Percebois or yourself to the course suggested

in my first paragraph above.

A. H. Harris, Esq.

I am, etc,

(sd) A.M.Thomson.

Colonial Secretary.
